FUN AND GAMES IN CHIANG MAI

FUN AND GAMES IN CHIANG MAI

Because our friends and family aren’t your typical watch collector and we are not your typical lifestyle brand, the SEVENFRIDAY Games was held against the backdrop Chiang Mai’s bustling city hub and sprawling mountains for two days of fun and games and elephants!

After escapades in the Swiss Alps, the Turkish coast and Tuscany, the tradition continued for the first time in Asia.

The “Field Days” started before the teams set foot in Thailand. Team captains organized their teams from coast-to-coast; country-to country; continent-to-continent to prepare the first night’s challenge … a team cheer event. There were ghostbusters, luchadores, men (and women) in black and a hakarena … yes, a hakarena (they didn’t win).

Needless to say, it set the stage for the next day’s competition which included a tug-of-war, rope walk, four-legged race and Thai cook-off. The teams really had to put their cooking skills to the test because whatever they cooked would be their lunch!

After lunch the group headed to the mountains of Chiang Mai for unique training experience as a mahout, Thai for elephant trainer. Friends and fans were able to mount and ride an elephant, bathe with them, feed them and learn about how sanctuaries like the one we visited are bettering the lives of these gentle giants. It was an experience to remember.

Per tradition, the Games were commemorated with a Special Edition set available for purchase. 100% of the proceeds of the sale of the Games Edition Sunglasses and Bracelet set were donated to Child’s Dream. As a result, we raised 18,000 CHF to the Chiang Mai based non-profit dedicated to empowering marginalized children, youth and young adults in Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand.

Thanks to all our friends and family who brought their enthusiasm, spirit of competition and adventure for such a fun time. See you next time …
